Questions, answered
How long do your products last?+
With daily use, a bar of soap lasts about 2–3 weeks; keeping it dry between uses helps it last longer. Our Manuka Silk balm is rich and concentrated, so a little goes a long way. A fingertip is usually enough. The facial brush is reusable: wipe the bristles and let them air-dry after each use.
Are your products suitable for sensitive skin?+
We choose every oil and butter with care. Our soap is cold-processed with olive, coconut and castor oils and shea butter; our balm is made with tallow, Manuka honey and kokum butter, and comes in an unscented version with no added fragrance. Each product page lists its ingredients. If your skin is very sensitive, check the list and patch test before use.
Where are your products made?+
Our soaps and balms are made by hand in small batches in the Alhemera studio. Each batch is mixed, poured, labelled and checked for quality before it is packed, and our soap is cured before it ships.
What about shipping and returns?+
